UPDATES IN THERAPEUTICS® 2018 offers four Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses designed for pharmacy professionals preparing for Specialty Certification Examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), three ACCP Academy professional development certificate programs designed for pharmacy professionals wishing to enhance their leadership, research, and teaching skills, two scientific poster sessions, and ACCP’s NEW Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum designed for pharmacy professionals wanting to learn more about clinical pharmacy practice advancement.

ACCP's Preparatory Review and Recertification Courses are designed for pharmacy professionals who are preparing for the Specialty Certification Examinations administered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), for specialists seeking recertification through continuing education, and for those seeking a self-paced refresher of pharmacotherapeutic management of specialty specific conditions and contemporary clinical practice topics.

The ACCP Academy offers three tracks that concentrate its programming over a 2-day period to enable Academy participants to minimize both travel expense and time away from their practice. Academy registration includes all sessions within the ACCP Academy track of your choice, available continuing pharmacy education credit and program handouts for the ACCP Academy track sessions you attend.

ACCP’s Patient-Centered Team-Based Practice Forum offers a series of hands-on, interactive programs to assist practitioners with developing and/or enhancing their clinical pharmacy services to deliver comprehensive medication management. Attendees will get a first look at the learnings of the ACCP Funded CMM Effectiveness and Implementation study, which will be deployed for use during this engaging forum.

The Call for Abstracts is open to all meeting registrants (i.e., prep course; Academy; and Patient-Centered, Team-Based Care Forum attendees). Abstracts describing completed original research, research-in-progress, or clinical pharmacy forum programs or services are invited.

This pre-course workshop is designed for participants seeking an in-depth, hands-on, interactive session focused on strengthening their understanding of the core concepts related to biostatistics and clinical trial design. This workshop is limited to 100 participants.
